The wedding

The wedding last two days. The firts day is the "prueba del pañuelo" when the "ajuntaora" proves if the girls are virgins. There only can be the married women. You can know if the girl is virgin when she get dirty the towel. Men raise the bride and the woman throw her green almonds.
For that ceremony they use a special dress.

 

Next day the ceremony is celebrate, they go to a church with a huge dress with a lot of glitter. When the mass ends the boys broke his shirts. Later the party stars

El apalabramiento

When the girls are fourteen to eighteen years and they have a boy, the boy has to make the apalabramiento. What´s apalabramiento? It´s an habit, the boy has to go to the girl´s house and with all the family around, he has to ask her father the hand of his daughter. Then if the father says "yes", the girl moves to live with his partner until they get married. They have to sleep in differents rooms and her mother in law teach her the house labour.

 

El roneo

All the Sunday the gipsy teenegers go out to meet with some guys and try to find her future husband. Girls spent five hours to get ready.
Her style is a little different, they use a lot more make up; they use tight clothes but they can´t show anything. Their hair style is also different, they have long hair and they normally wear (when they have hot) a bun.
Boys use to wear a shirt and a suit. They can´t speak with the girls, they just can look  at them.
